The subject of the portrait is Ra'Lasia Wright, a 25-year-old Black Latina transgender woman from Minneapolis, who was killed in December 2024. The portrait is created from pages of Harry Potter books. The author has purposefully and relentlessly contributed to a culture that vilifies and endangers trans people around the world. This project seeks to provide healing to multiple generations of queer readers who found refuge in a magical world, only to have it tainted by the author's dangerous and harmful exploits.

20% of the proceeds from the sale of these prints goes to Advocates For Trans Equality, a non-profit organization based in New York City, dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of transgender individuals through the advocacy, education, and community engagement.
